Did this pic quite a while ago. Twas a birthday present for my best friend, whose birthday was more than a month ago. Yeah.

Thing is, I wanted to get the thing printed and framed, and never really got round to it. Just as I was actually going to get a frame for it, she said she's actually taking everything off her bedroom walls and it would look weird on it's own. So instead, I just showed it to her on the screen. Little less gift-like than I would have preferred, but at least she's actually seen it now.

The horse featured is hers - one of the nicest I've ever seen, if a bit on the food-loving side.

Given that I've never drawn a horse before, I'm quite startled at how well it turned out. But seeing as I've taken plenty of photos of him, I was hardly lacking in the reference material department. And hey - if you can draw Godzilla and the Jabberwocky, a horse isn't exactly much of a stretch.
